The training familiarizes participants with the operation of the selected software (qs-STAT/Minitab/STATISTICA) and the possibilities of its configuration when using statistical methods in quality management. During the training, basic issues related to the preparation and analysis of measurement data will be discussed, including: analysis of process stability using control charts, machine capability assessment, and analysis of production processes.
ℹ️ The training program covers the requirements of the new 2026 edition of the AIAG & VDA SPC Manual.
Join a group of participants from different companies and discover industry best practices.

BASIC INFORMATION
Content:
• Introduction to the structure of the program
• Program modules – general overview
• Basic mode of program operation and analysis strategy
Exercises:
Participants become familiar with the basics of working in the selected program and get to know its environment
FILE PREPARATION
Content:
• Saving data in files
• Defining control plans and data recording
• Creating a control plan and recording measurements
Exercises:
This part of the training is devoted to activities related to data entry
Participants will see how to do it correctly and in such a way that further analyses are possible
PRESENTATION OF MEASUREMENT RESULTS
Content:
• Graphical presentation of measurement results (theory and practice)
• Statistical indicators and numerical results of statistical analyses
• Overview charts, process evaluation
Exercises:
The programs offer a very large number of analyses
In this part of the training, participants will see where in the program to look for the most important analyses and how to present results graphically
PRELIMINARY DATA ANALYSIS – ASSUMPTION TESTING
Content:
• Normal distribution and its properties
• Detection of gross errors
• Basic statistical tests
Exercises:
Correct SPC requires verification of several assumptions before control charts are plotted
Participants will learn the tests used in SPC and their practical application
PROCESS STABILITY ANALYSIS USING CONTROL CHARTS
Content:
• Principles of using control charts – review of control charts and reminder of the rules for their application
• Creating control charts
• Analysis of control charts
Exercises:
Reviewing the fundamentals of control charts will allow for a better understanding of the program’s capabilities
Thanks to this, training participants will not focus solely on generating a chart, but will think about its practical use for evaluating the process described by measurement results
PRODUCTION MACHINE ASSESSMENT – CAPABILITY INDICES
Content:
• Statistical indicators of analysis results
Exercises:
In this part of the training, elements related to machine capability assessment will be practiced
The most important indicators in this area will also be discussed
PRODUCTION PROCESS ANALYSIS
Content:
• Process indicators
• Control charts
• Process stability conditions
• SPC and standards (PN, ISO, AIAG, CQI-25, industry standards).
Exercises:
The most important elements of SPC are the assessment of process stability and capability
In this part of the training, participants will practice the basic program options in this area
The assumption of the training is that participants already have at least basic knowledge of SPC. During the training, SPC theory will be discussed only in general terms, with the main emphasis placed on the use of the selected software (qs-STAT/Minitab/STATISTICA).
During the training, participants work on computers.
After the training, each participant will receive a certificate confirming completion of the training.
