TRAINING PROGRAM

For in-company training, the proposed program is a preliminary suggestion and can be freely adapted to the individual needs of the company.

The following program is indicative (the division into days is arbitrary) and the trainer adapts the course of the training to the specific characteristics of the group. Individual topics may be discussed at a different time or in a different form than indicated in the plan.

Module 1

INTRODUCTION TO QUALITY MANAGEMENT – CONTEXT OF PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Content:

The essence of the process approach
Process management in ISO 9000 series standards, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and others
Defining a process – practice of production and non-production processes
Process approach in the context of quality improvement: internal customer and supplier

Module 2

BUILDING A COMPANY PROCESS MAP (DIAGRAM)

Content:

Stages of creating a process map
Criteria for dividing processes – practical examples
Designing connections between processes
Examples of process maps – presentation and discussion

Exercises:

Development of a process map – real or fictitious company

Discussion of prepared maps and development of the final map

Module 1

PROCESS MAPPING

Content:

Methods of describing processes (symbols used in diagrams)
SIPOC approach in describing a process
The “turtle” model as support in process mapping
Vertical and horizontal maps (different types and levels of detail) – principles of describing the process flow
Documents and records on maps – marking principles
BPMN notation – use of basic “gateways” in process mapping

Exercises:

Analysis and improvement of a sample process based on a map

Development of a map of a selected process

Module 2

PROCESS MEASUREMENT – INDICATORS AND THEIR ANALYSIS

Content:

Principles regarding process measurement
Quality objectives and process indicators
Defining process indicators based on internal and external customer requirements
Measuring process effectiveness and efficiency (three levels of indicators)

Exercises:

Evaluation of a list of prepared indicators for selected processes

Development of indicators for processes based on the process map and identified requirements

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We ensure that a large part of the training is devoted to exercises and practical workshops – this makes it easier for participants to remember new information.

The detailed scope of the training will be agreed after further analysis of training needs.

After the training, each participant will receive a certificate confirming completion of the training.
