TRAINING PROGRAM

For in-company training, the proposed program is a preliminary suggestion and can be freely adapted to the individual needs of the company.

The following program is indicative (the division into days is arbitrary) and the trainer adapts the course of the training to the specific characteristics of the group. Individual topics may be discussed at a different time or in a different form than indicated in the plan.

Module 1

• Experimental methods
• When to use experiment planning
• How to create an experiment plan
• Traditional problem-solving vs. DoE

EXERCISES:

Participants will learn the benefits of experiment planning and the steps to take before starting
They will also discover the differences between traditional and DoE approaches

Module 2

CONTENT:

Main effect and Interaction plot
Contour plot

Process and product maps

EXERCISES:
Basic tools for experiment planning help visualize the design process and result analysis in a simple way
Participants will learn the order of use, how to interpret results, and which supporting tools to use for planning and selecting the best factors for analysis

Module 3

CONTENT:
• Verifying catapult functionality
• Planning, executing, and analyzing experiments (Fractional Factorial)
• Drawing conclusions from the experiment
• Using the resulting model
• Analysis in MiniTab

EXERCISES:
Exercises to understand the tool
Step-by-step practice of each stage in experiment planning

Module 4

CONTENT:
• Repeatability and reproducibility
• Randomization
• Why and how to block disturbances
• Basic blocking in MiniTab

EXERCISES:
Participants will learn why and how disturbances affect experiments and how to avoid them

Module 5

CONTENT:
• Steps of planning and performing an experiment using examples

EXERCISES:
Based on a simple example, go through the design, execution, and analysis process

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The training is conducted based on real company examples – process analysis
• The training group should not exceed 15 participants
• Session duration, breaks, and start/end times can be adjusted to group needs

Each participant will receive a certificate of completion after the training
