During the training, participants will learn the practical aspects of implementing, maintaining and improving the quality management system according to the IATF 16949: 2016 specification.

  • IATF 16949 vs. ISO 9001:2015.
  • Do we need to have IATF?
  • What are the SIs and FAQs on the IATF website? Do we need to use them?

DESCRIPTION:

Participants of the training will be introduced to the subject of management in accordance with IATF 16949. basic assumptions for the creation of this specification.

  • Process management – additional requirements.
  • Documentation and records management in accordance with IATF.
  • Context of the organization.
  • Leadership.
  • Customer specific requirements and IATF.

DESCRIPTION:

Only IATF 16949 checks should be avoided, but also practice-checking documents. There will also be reference to documenting customer delivery management

  • Efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
  • New risk management requirements.
  • Product responsibility in the context of customer requirements.
  • Responsibility for quality and customer representatives.
  • Additional requirements for management reviews.

DESCRIPTION:

The management responsibilities arising from work in accordance with IATF 16949 will be outlined in general terms. Particular attention will be paid to the impact of the requirements of this chapter on lower-level employees.

DESCRIPTION:

Resources are one of the most important elements that influence the effectiveness of a quality management system. Here we will introduce three types of resources and practical tips for managing them, including assurance and optimization.

The use of quality cost accounting as a tool to optimize the company’s finances will be discussed. This will be discussed in the context of Lean / Kaizen activities.

CONTENTS:

  • Product realization planning.
  • Design based on customer requirements.
  • Purchasing and supplier development.
  • Conducting production under supervised conditions.
  • Extensive measurement system management.

DESCRIPTION:

The discussion of this largest chapter of IATF 16949 will give e.g. knowledge of how to manage processes in terms of their planning, description, implementation and control.

Many practical examples will show how and why the requirements should be implemented and used in the company.

CONTENTS:

  • Process monitoring and product control.
  • Internal audits as an effective tool for improving the quality management system.
  • Conducting management reviews.

DESCRIPTION:

Training participants will learn about the differences between control and prevention. The role of effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions to improve the system will also be emphasized. The types of audits (product, process, system) and documents regulating their conduct (including VDA documents) will be discussed.

CONTENTS:

  • Problem solving.
  • Non-compliance management and corrective actions.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement.

DESCRIPTION:

The basic methods required by IATF 16949 will be discussed. Participants will see in what context and how to apply them correctly.

Additional information:

The training takes the form of workshops supported by a multimedia presentation and supplemented with exercises. The theoretical part is interwoven with many examples tailored to the specifics of the company. The pace of training and the difficulty of the issues discussed are adjusted to the level of advancement of the participants, and the scope of the training can be tailored to the specifics of your company.

After the training, each participant will receive a certificate confirming completion of the training.
