Participants will learn practical tools supporting quality management, learn their proper application in everyday work, and understand the importance of quality in both strategic and operational contexts.

TRAINING PROGRAM

For in-company training, the proposed program is a preliminary suggestion and can be freely adapted to the individual needs of the company.

The following program is indicative (the division into days is arbitrary) and the trainer adapts the course of the training to the specific characteristics of the group. Individual topics may be discussed at a different time or in a different form than indicated in the plan.

Module 1

QUALITY ASSURANCE – WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

Content:

  • “Quality” – design, manufacturing, or use?

  • Quality management vs. quality assurance – which is more important?

  • Brief history of quality management – from inspector to standardized management systems

  • Control and prevention – detection of nonconformities vs. prevention of nonconformities

  • Quality costs – basics

  • Quality assurance as a project (e.g., based on the APQP methodology)

Module 1

QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Content:

  • Fundamentals of the process approach

  • Management system in the context of processes

  • Defining processes and describing their flows

  • Turtle model and SIPOC model

  • Process indicators – practical approach to quality assurance

Module 2

STANDARDIZED QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Content:

  • Standard vs. quality management standard

  • Review of quality management standards and norms (ISO, IEC, IATF, AS, CQI, VDA, AIAG, etc.)

  • ISO 9001 (or IATF 16949) – review of requirements

  • Auditing – types of audits and typical audit process

  • System certification – how to prepare and what it is used for

  • Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen in the context of quality management standards

Module 1

METHODS AND TOOLS OF QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Content:

  • Methods and tools of quality management – scope and possibilities of use at individual stages of project development

  • PDCA cycle as the basis for improvement

  • 7&7 tools – overview of application possibilities (Pareto analysis, histogram, affinity diagram, tabular data analysis, etc.)

  • Basics of using statistics in quality management

  • Risk management – selected methods in practice (PDPC, FMEA, FTA, etc.)

Module 2

PRODUCT QUALITY AND MEASUREMENT QUALITY

Content:

  • Basics of quality control and the tasks of a quality controller

  • Measurement – typical errors and ways of dealing with them

  • Measurement uncertainty and specification limits

  • Measurement systems analysis (MSA) – basic principles of evaluating variable and attribute measurement controls

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We ensure that a large part of the training is devoted to exercises and practical workshops – this makes it easier for participants to remember new information.

During the training, practice includes tasks in the area of:

  • Defining quality costs.
  • Using statistics to evaluate a process.
  • Identifying risks using FMEA.
  • Using basic quality improvement tools.
  • Designing solutions in the area of error proofing.
  • Defining process performance indicators.

After the training, each participant will receive a certificate confirming completion of the training.
