FMEA ANALYSIS – REVIEW OF BASICS

Content:

  • Scope of risk analyses: DFMEA, PFMEA, SFMEA, LFMEA and their interrelations
  • Basic standards describing FMEA (AIAG ed. 4, VDA 4, AIAG & VDA ed. 1, MIL-Q, ISO/IEC)
  • FMEA in the CSR of selected customers
  • FMEA forms – overview of simple and extended options

Defects for different types of FMEA – differentiation

Module 2

DEFINING DEFECTS, CAUSES AND EFFECTS – ADVANCED LEVEL

Content:

  • Building the structure for the process and the product as well as the function structure in accordance with AIAG & VDA requirements
  • Deriving defects from functions and product characteristics
  • A defect as the negation of a process characteristic – special situations
  • Describing effects in the W-Z-U-R approach
  • Assessment of defect significance for customers – SEV
  • Risk analysis in the case of pass-through characteristics

Selection of SEV values based on knowledge of the product and customers
From function to defect – practical cases

Module 3

DETECTION AND PREVENTION – SPECIFIC CASES

Content:

  • How to distinguish detection from prevention (AIAG & VDA guideline)?

  • Best practices in defining detection and prevention
  • Determining the DET level with “non-rigid” scoring tables
  • Determining DET values based on MSA analysis results
  • P-Y in FMEA

Each discussed theoretical issue is illustrated with numerous practical examples. The presented FMEA tools are related to the specifics of the industries represented by the individual training participants.

During the training, many exercises and workshop activities are carried out, which helps to absorb knowledge more easily and acquire new skills.

After the training, each participant will receive a certificate confirming completion of the training.
